Wingora

Questions and answers

How prices work, what happens when you book, and who holds your reservation.

How does the pricing work?
Wingora does not set prices and does not sell tickets. We read fares from Travelpayouts, which aggregates what airlines and travel agencies are currently advertising, and we show you the clearest comparison we can build from that.
The price on a Wingora card is the price that data source last recorded. It is an indication, not a quote. The only binding price is the one shown by the airline or travel agency at the moment you pay.
Why is the price different when I click through?
Airline pricing changes constantly — by seat availability, by demand, sometimes several times a day. A fare we read an hour ago can be gone by the time you open the booking page.
It is also normal for the final total to be higher once bags, seat selection, or payment-method fees are added. Those are set by whoever sells you the ticket, not by us, and we cannot see them in advance.
Why are some results on a different date from the one I searched?
Our fare source is organised by month rather than by exact date, and for many routes there is simply no cached fare on one specific day. Rather than show you an empty page, we show the closest dates we can actually find — the same thing Google Flights and Skyscanner do.
Nothing is substituted quietly. Every fare card shows its own dates, and carries either "Your date" or a label saying how many days away it is. If none of the results matched what you searched, a line above the list says so.
What happens after I click "Select"?
You leave Wingora. The link takes you to Aviasales, part of the Travelpayouts network, where the actual booking happens with the airline or travel agency that holds that fare.
Everything from that point — passenger details, payment, the ticket itself — is between you and them. Wingora is not part of the transaction and never sees your payment details.
Who actually holds my booking?
The airline or the travel agency you booked with — never Wingora. We are a comparison service. We have no access to your reservation, cannot see it, cannot change it and cannot cancel it.
Your confirmation email comes from them, and their name is the one to use in any correspondence about the trip.
How do I change or cancel, or get a refund?
Through whoever sold you the ticket, under their fare rules. Because Wingora is not the seller, we cannot process a change, a cancellation or a refund, and we cannot escalate one on your behalf.
This is worth checking before you pay rather than after: refund rules vary enormously between a flexible fare and the cheapest one on the page, and the cheapest is often non-refundable.
How does Wingora make money?
Affiliate commission. If you book after following one of our links, the travel partner pays us a share of their own margin. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same as going there directly.
It does not change what we show you either. Results are sorted by price by default, and commission is not a ranking factor.
How do I contact Wingora?
Honestly: you cannot yet. Wingora does not have a support inbox or a phone line at this stage, and we would rather say that plainly than publish an address nobody is reading.
For anything about an actual booking — a change, a refund, a missing confirmation — the airline or travel agency you booked with is the right and only party anyway. They hold the reservation; we never did.
A support channel will be added before we ask anyone to rely on one. Until it exists, this page is the honest answer.
